"A luminous musical memoir that celebrates and laments the elusive radiance of a shared life. The Bengsons offer luminous hope that a new generation of talent is taking up Stephen Sondheim's mantle of exquisite ambivalence." - Ben Brantley, The New York Times (2-time Critics' Pick)

2018 Lucille Lortel & Drama League Nominee for Outstanding Musical

When I first saw Hundred Days at Z Space in San Francisco in 2014 I immediately fell in love with its creators and stars, Abigail & Shaun Bengson (though, frankly, that’s how most people feel when they meet Abigail & Shaun).  My producing partners are Greg Nobile & Jana Shea of Seaview Productions (Broadway’s Sea Wall/A Life and Slave Play).  The show premiered in NY at The Public Theater's Under the Radar Festival in Jan 2017 (where it received its first Critics' Pick review in the NY Times), and then had a full production at New York Theatre Workshop in November & December of that same year (where it received its second Critics' Pick review).  Thanks to the success and momentum of the NYTW run, a small National Tour launched at La Jolla Playhouse in Sept 2018.  (Incidentally, Hundred Days had its second production at the Know Theatre in Cincinnati in 2015 and Greg and I - two New Yorkers - literally bumped into each other pre-show at a restaurant in Cincinnati on a random Tuesday.  Thus our partnership was formed, over a glass a wine.)
