When I first saw Hundred Days at Z Space in San Francisco in 2014 I immediately fell in love with its creators and stars, The Bengsons (though, frankly, that’s how most people feel when they meet Abigail & Shaun). When I went to see its second developmental production at the Know Theatre in 2015, fellow New Yorker Greg Nobile and I literally bumped into each other pre-show at a restaurant in Cincinnati on a random Tuesday - and it felt clear that we must produce the show together! The show premiered in NY at The Public Theater’s Under the Radar Festival, then had runs at NYTW and La Jolla Playhouse before kicking off a small National Tour. It was our first outing as Lead Producers, and both the piece and everyone involved with it hold a very special place in my heart.
