This whacky, powerful, vital piece of theater about the absurdity of the abortion debate in America was a true passion project. Rachel Sussman and I served as Executive Producers for an acclaimed off-Broadway run in January 2023 at WP Theater, in the wake of the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade. I feel very lucky to have worked alongside The Appointment “Avengers” in leading the project: Lightning Rod Special co-Artistic Directors Alice Yorke and Scott R. Sheppard, General Managers Renee Blinkwolt and Lucy Jackson, and Marketing geniuses Steven Tartick and Jacob Cooper.
