WE AREN’T KIDS ANYMORE
We Aren’t Kids Anymore is an autobiographical song cycle by Drew Gasparini. What’s magical about it is how universally it speaks to the real life challenges of being true to oneself as a person and an artist in the face of doubt and pressure - from both both internal and external forces. Well, that and the fact that it’s an entire album of bops! The album features the unparalleled talents of Nicholas Christopher, Lilli Cooper, Raymond Lee, Bonnie Milligan, and Colton Ryan, and I produced it alongside Drew and our long-time collaborator Justin Goldner. We unexpectedly wound up releasing this album one month into the COVID pandemic, and working on it during that window was a welcome source of joy.
